Movie Review: Deadpool 2

I have no strong opinions about this movie at all even though it went out of its way to be as over the top and zany as possible. The action was decent and there were a few laugh out loud moments. But the story was forgettable and none of the performances left much of an impression. Brolin did alright as Cable but he didn’t have much interesting to do. Domino was inoffensive but I did not like the fact that she is another entry in a recent trend of boring, invincible Mary Sue type female characters. Ryan Reynolds did his damndest to carry this movie from scene to scene, but what felt effortless in the last movie came across as forced this time around. This one is skippable. Watch some clips on YouTube if you must.
